It is very difficult not to compare yourself to all the perfect women all over social media and commercials, especially as we age and our bodies change. Not being fully accepting of our body can be damaging to our confidence and our health.
I have struggled most of my life not being satisfied with the body I was given. It was either too skinny or too fat; I am very hard to please! What I’ve learned is I feel best when I focus on being healthy rather than being skinny.
Thank your body for being the perfect body for you, for being the container for your soul, as it is not permanent. We are here for so much more than to look perfect. Rather than comparing ourselves to others, use your own body as the measuring stick. What is healthy for your body type? It may be surprising that the very thing you dislike or try to change about yourself-someone else could be admiring and trying to achieve themselves.
