YOUR MANIFEST PROSPERITY MESSAGE:
35. My goals are more important than my fears
Fear attracts the very thing we are afraid of, yet many of us still get trapped in it. Fear keeps us away from seeing what is on the other side of it. Even though fear is invisible, it feels very real to many of us. How often do we let fear stop us from doing something that will benefit us or we need to do? Imagine something you are afraid of. Now imagine what the possible reward is if you were to face your fear. Imagine holding your fear in one hand, and the reward or benefit in the other. When being trapped in fear, focus on the benefit of what is on the other side of it. How facing your fear will benefit you. Imagine yourself having already faced your fear and receiving that benefit and reward. Feel how proud of yourself you would be. Take baby steps towards facing your fear. You have the power to manifest all the support necessary for you to face that fear and crush it. Set the intention that the right people or opportunities will show up for you from the Universe to help you. Once you face a certain fear, it gets smaller. The more often you do this, the fear eventually goes away and the very thing you feared before becomes comfortable and easy. Successful people have fears too. Choose someone you look up to and imagine how they would deal with fear, especially a specific fear you may have in mind. How can you embody their courage to face your fear?
A new fear showed up for me as I began to write guidebooks for my card decks. I am not a writer; I am an artist. Writing is very far past my comfort zone and expertise. I grappled with the idea of hiring a professional writer, but I felt guided to face this fear and write my guidebooks in my own voice and with my message. It is through facing that fear and practice that we not only get comfortable with it but we also improve.
Another fear showed up for me when stories became available on Instagram and everyone was posting videos of themselves. I will be honest, I thought it was ridiculous at first and refused to use them. But as a business owner, I felt I had to start showing up and allowing my followers and potential customers to get to know me more personally, and for that I had to show them who I was. I was terrified. I am an introvert and I was bullied as a kid which left me with a decade of trauma. I was terrified that I would be bullied or made fun of by online strangers. I saw so many mean comments on Facebook and YouTube videos, I feared being on the other side of them. I knew that to be successful, I had to face my fear and show up with confidence. I grew to feel very comfortable when showing up in my story videos and have made many friends online all around the world as a result. I continue to face my fears in business because I focus on my main goal and that is to grow a bigger audience and for people to learn to trust and respect me as a business owner and creator. Focus on your goals, feel the fear and do it anyway. In no time you will be a pro!
