Hi, I'm Deja. I am an artist/graphic designer and full-time mom of an amazing 4-year old boy and we live in Fallbrook, California.
I've been drawing since I can remember, which is about age 5. I graduated from School of Visual Arts and have been a graphic designer for the past 10+ years. You may have seen or even worn some of my shirt designs that have sold at Walmart, Target, JC Penney, Nordstrom's, Kohls, Victoria's Secret, and more.
I've always wanted to do something big and inspiring that would help others, but have been busy with full-time jobs. When I got pregnant with my son in 2013, I had an epiphany...this was my time. This was my chance to start creating and building my own projects. I just had to figure out what they were! I quit my full-time job to raise my son myself and focus on my creativity. The first project was a website I've been wanting to develop for years, Heyiwonder.com which took 1 year to develop. It's a survey/poll website where people can ask others anything they want anonymously, and relate to them based on the demographic results. I have taken a break from investing money into this website for now, and have moved on to other ventures.
In 2015, I became obsessed with oracle and tarot cards and the idea of manifestation. I read several books by Wayne Dyer, listened to Bob Procter, Robert Zink, and various other people. Then it came to me-why not combine the two, and create affirmation cards for manifestation?
My first deck was born, on manifesting prosperity and success.
I launched my second oracle deck in June 2017: My Quality Time Self-Care Activity deck; self-care activities for hard working women. I am currently developing my third deck, Personal Power Oracle Deck - a personal development affirmation deck for women which is centered around self-love.
I was born in Russia and at age 8, moved to NYC with my family. It was a huge adjustment for me. I went from being a normal kid to being an alien who was bullied for years. This affected my self-esteem and self-worth. It made me be afraid of people, judgement and being in the public eye. Now that I am in my mid-thirties, I am finally facing all those fears and I want to help women do the same.
My mission is to help women feel empowered and happy, because ultimately, I believe that is what everyone searches for, to be truly happy. All of my current and future projects will be a reflection of this mission.
